Fisher house has been a charity partner of Heart of America Marathon since 2020.

Friends of Mid-Missouri Fisher House, Inc. was founded in June 2018 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to support and promote the ongoing operations of the Mid-Missouri Fisher House. We are group of engaged community members that are striving to provide a much needed haven for veterans and service members that travel long distances to receive care here in Columbia.

Since 1992, the Fisher House Foundation has built nearly 100 Houses (the Mid-Missouri Fisher House is #95) both in the US and abroad. These Houses are a place of rest and calm during some of the most trying times of these families’ lives.
